Native Apple Silicon

THOR now builds natively on macOS/arm64 and runs GPU kernels through AdaptiveCpp's Metal backend. On a 30-core Apple M3 Max GPU, the unaccelerated Neufeld-sphere Lyα benchmark reaches 1,700 photons per second, or 35–125× the CPU codes in the same laptop comparison.
